Easy Breezy Sweet and Sparkling Autumn Sangria

Fall is the best time to pick apples in cozy sweaters, go to breweries with friends, and enjoy the brisk autumn air. In the same fashion, a night in with a fire blazing, a specialty drink flowing, and a few friends makes for a fantastic fall filled fiesta as well! If you are itching to jump on the fall wagon, we’ve got the perfect autumn sangria recipe for you.

And before you ask the age old question…

How does this pair with Brie?

…we’ll tell you how.

In case you missed our National Dessert Day post, let’s divulge back into the topic of fruit pairings. Specifically, brie pairs best with fruits that have higher levels of acidity. The reason for this is due to the sweetness that acidic fruits have which complements the rich and creaminess of the brie. So, for the same reason that the Blackberry Brie recipe fused together the fruit and brie, the combination of these sweet fruits allow your palette to welcome brie in the best way possible!

If you’re still not quite convinced, try it out for yourself and you’ll see what we mean.

Now without further ado, here’s the best Fall-ktail to kickstart your night.

Tips

  1. Freeze cups a few hours before serving: I used mason jars for the fall aesthetic but you can most certainly use any glass you choose!
  2. Sugar your rim: Wet the edges of each cup’s rim and press them onto a plate sprinkled with cinnamon sugar
  3. Save a few apple slices: You can garnish the rims with an apple slice as well to create a perfect presentation
  4. Enjoy with friends!
