To give you a little inspiration, we’ve made a few charcu-turkey boards that will definitely make for an impressive platter.

Whether you lean more towards the meats or sweets, here are a few crafty tricks on prepping your picture-perfect turkey!

The Classic Charcu-turkey

Charcu-Turkey Board

This ensemble of meats and cheeses is as easy as it is adorable. Not only is it a great way to utilize a whole wheel of brie, but you can feather out your turkey with essentially any meat or cheese of your choosing. This charcu-turkey blends a mixture of low lactose cheeses such as cheddar and brie, as well as the infamous salami and pepperoni duo. Just add a halved manzanilla olive and your Italian flair will come alive onto your plate.

For our French fans out there, we went a step ahead with this one using a new brie brand. La Bonne Vie is the winner of this appetizer. As a double creme brie that literally translates to “the good life” in French, what more can you ask for?

The Fruit-Turkey

Fruit Charcu-Turkey

Looking for a turkey for your dessert table as well? Try out a fruit charcu-turkey for a healthy kick to end your feast. The best part of this turkey is how colorful you can get with it. As a perfect pair to brie, we used such fruits as apples, figs, and berries but feel free to try out anything you like! To combine the two turkeys, you can even swap the pear for a baked brie wheel to cheese up your board.

As the little turkey feet, we used the stems from both the apple and pear, banana slices and pomegranate seeds for the eyes, and a slice of cheddar for the beak.

Check out some useful tips below to see how you can best make your turkey:

  • Slice everything first so you can easily put all your layers together at once
  • Cut one banana and apple to start so you don’t cut up too much
  • Don’t ensemble your turkey hungry (those are dangerous waters)

Other Ideas

While these turkey’s are only a few options, there are plenty of other turkey compilations you can come up with. From a candy layered turkey to a veggie turkey, you can create your turkey masterpiece anyway you like. Don’t have enough turkey on your table? Our Thanksgiving Turkey Punch is here to assist! With apples and cranberries, it’s sure to be the perfect touch to your Thanksgiving day.
