Easy Baked Brie Mac And Cheese With Prosciutto
Get ready to unleash your inner child as we bring back a youthful classic but with a sophisticated twist. This brie mac and cheese takes comfort food to a whole new level. The combination of creamy brie and salty prosciutto, baked underneath a crispy breadcrumb ceiling is something you do not want to miss.
As always, I went with the classic Président Brie wheel. You can choose whichever size you desire depending on your creaminess preference as well as how much pasta you are going to make. However, I decided to risk it all and went with the 19.6 oz wheel.
Additionally, you have the choice of the pasta. If you need some help deciding, refer back to this post where we discuss all things pasta. For this recipe, I decided to try out Cavatappi and it was a great decision. In other variations of this recipe, I tried out both Orzo as well as Mini Shells, and so far I think Cavatappi takes the medal. If you try out a different pasta, be sure to let us know in the comments!
Once you have selected your pasta and brie wheel of choice, you are ready to get cooking.
