Easy Christmas Cranberry Pastry Brie Wreath
Christmas is just around the corner and everyone is scrambling to buy gifts, put up a tree, and decorate the house. Amidst all the Christmas chaos, festive appetizers face neglect. If you find yourself in this situation, struggling to think of a delicious yet low maintenance appetizer, you have come to the right place. Our cranberry brie wreath is an easy appetizer to make for your guests while also keeping the Christmas spirit alive.
As if there isn’t enough holiday spirit in the air, it is also National Pastry Day. This means you’ve got yet another excuse to indulge in the best baked goods all day. To join in on the festivities, follow our lead.
We used Président Brie to craft our cranberry brie wreath. The great thing about buying an 8oz brie round as opposed to a wedge for this recipe is you can use the container to shape the wreath. Creating a perfect circle, an 8oz Président round is a bang for your buck. In addition to this, we also used Pillsbury Butter Flake Crescent Rolls. Interestingly enough, this seemingly dairy infused dough has ZERO dairy in it. So you don’t have to worry about any dairy overload here.

Easy Christmas Cranberry Pastry Brie Wreath
Ingredients
- 2 tubes Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 8 oz Wheel of Brie
- 1 can Jellied Cranberry
- 1 Egg
- 2-3 sprigs Thyme
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil
- Using the circular brie box or a small bowl, place in the center of the baking sheet
- Tear the crescent rolls from the perforated marks and place around the brie (the end result should look like a sun). Remove the center object once finished
- Cut slices of brie and arrange around inner portion of the crescents
- Top with the jellied cranberry and finish by folding each crescent over the brie topped cranberry
- In a separate bowl, whisk an egg and gently brush onto wreath
- Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned
- Garnish with thyme and serve immediately
After Thoughts
See all that you can do with only a whopping 15 minutes? This recipe is not only a quick oven idea, but it’s also an easy clean up as well. Do note that when making your own wreath, be sure not to leave out the dough for too long as it may start to harden the more room temperature it gets. Also, be sure to continuously check on your wreath in the oven as once it starts to brown, it will cook very fast. We recommend placing your wreath in the center of the oven if possible in order to prevent the top or bottom from cooking faster.

This looks so easy. I just added the ingredients to my cart for a party tomorrow. What temp do I bake at? 375?
Thank you! I’m looking forward to shoving this in my face
