Recipe Hacks

Although our recipe uses an air-fryer, you can also bake these in the oven as an alternative. However, if you are intrigued by the air-fryer life, take our word and invest! This appliance is useful for so many recipes. Whether you’d like to fry up a fish dinner or even make pancakes, the options are endless for this healthier way of frying.

For our Bacon Wrapped Brie Jalapeño Poppers, we used a Trader Joe’s triple creme brie. As the mixture seeks to mimic the traditional cream cheese filling, it’s only fitting to use the creamiest brie option. For best results, we also recommend using room temperate brie so it is easier to mix with the scallions.

In terms of the jalapeños, many others recommend wearing gloves due to the temperature of the pepper’s juice. If you don’t have gloves, make sure you wash your hands immediately after handling the peppers and wash the cutting board thoroughly. Of course, we also recommend refraining from touching your eyes as well as it will not make for the best popper experience.
