Taste aside, the most notable perks to making this recipe lie in its simple ingredients and quick prep time. Whether your on a time crunch or looking for that easy gem of an appetizer, look no further because Two Bries is here to help.
Brie Stuffed Pull-Apart Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp Country Crock Plant Butter melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 Baguette
- 1 Brie (wheel or wedge)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Combine melted butter and spices into a small bowl and mix until well combined.
- Using a basting brush, apply the mixture onto the outside, and within each of the slices.
- Add a brie slice in between the each section of the loaf and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Cook for 15 minutes or until cheese is fully melted. Serve immediately.
Tasteful Additions
If you’d like an even longer cheese pull and have the tolerance for lactose, consider adding sliced or shredded mozzarella along with brie. A classic cheese of choice to slide between those slices, “the mozz” is definitely a great addition to consider.
Another idea to pair with the dish lies within the realms of sauces. Adding a little homemade or store-bought marinara sauce can complete your appetizer game or tie together your meal. Otherwise, dip that dough into your spaghetti and meatballs (or pasta and gravy) for a real plate cleaner.
Recipe Substitutions
- Instead of a long baguette, you can use two mini baguettes like we did in the pictures
- Replace the plant butter with either regular butter, ghee, or olive/coconut oil
- If you do not have a basting brush, use a spoon to evenly spread the mixture throughout the loaf
