Super Simple and Creamy Brie Linguine: A Noodle Day Special
Life should be full of celebrations and all celebrations should include a hefty serving of pasta and a whole lotta brie. On this fine day widely known as National Noodle Day, let’s take a moment to fully appreciate those carbs of all shapes and sizes. From swirly to straight, gluten to non, pasta is an important staple across the world. Although not a diet’s best friend, pasta sure is a way to get to someone’s heart (and stomach). So let us send you some noods recipe-style starting with our super sexy Brie Linguine.
Simple and Creamy Brie Linguine
Ingredients
- Wheel of Brie Cheese
- 1 lb Linguine
- 1 Onion chopped
- 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 3 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Season with salt and add linguine. Cook until al dente.
- Meanwhile, add garlic and oil to a medium skillet, saucier, or sauté pan.
- Add chopped onions and let cook for 5-10 minutes or until lightly caramelized.
- Add white wine and 1/4 of the brie (cubed). Turn heat to low, and let simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cube another 1/4th of the brie and leave the rest in larger wedged. Add to pan along with the pasta, stirring constantly to melt the brie fully. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Transfer to serving bowls, garnish with parsley and additional red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
And there you have it! With a stir of the noodles and a slice of the cheese, you’ve successfully whipped up a Brie Linguine that’s one for the books. As we did not specify the size of the brie wheel, it’s important to note that you can use whatever quantity of brie you want. We opted for the large 19 0z President brie wheel but feel free to go with whatever your brie cheese comfort level is.
A few recommendations we’ve received were the option to add heavy cream for a more Alfredo finish or a white cheddar for EVEN more cheese. Keeping it classic, we opted to stick with our main slice: brie. The best part about this recipe is you can mold it to your liking. So go for it! Add that chicken, shrimp, or steak or funky cheese of choice. After all, the best recipes are left to the chef at hand!

In light of the season at hand, here are a few ways to darken up your dish for Halloween:
- Use Black Pasta
- The infamous black pasta, made using squid ink, is an easy way to spook up your noodle game.
- Top your dish with fake spiders
- Make an A1 Presentation:
- Consider using your carved jack-o-lantern by placing the pasta inside OR even pouring out of the mouth! Don’t be afraid to get creative. A little goes a long way.
- Top your pasta with food eyeballs! All you have to do is get those tiny mozzarella balls (bocconcini or pearls) and sliced olives. Gently push those puppies onto your cheese and roll em into your plate.
