Easy Warm Baked Brie Topped With An Infused Blackberry Medley
In honor of National Dessert day, we thought it was appropriate to share this quick and easy Baked Blackberry Brie recipe that is sure to please every sugar addict at your next party!
I am quite the dessert fiend myself. I love using any excuse to make a savory or sweet dessert. Lucky for us, this recipe is a perfect combination of both. And what better way to create that than with the infamous Presidént Brie at the forefront!
I tried this recipe out for one of our weekly family game nights after scrambling to come up with a surprise after-dinner dessert. This blackberry brie was extremely easy to make with few ingredients and little mess. Add any type of berry or fruit you desire and create your own magical improvisation. I personally used an 8-ounce wheel of brie but you can certainly level-up and use a 15-ounce wheel instead.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Farenheit
- Cut a thin circle in the top of the brie, being sure to leave room around the edges to prevent the inside from bubbling over. Using the knife or a spoon, remove the rind inside the circle (I found that a spoon was easier to get all the rind off of the top).
- Cover a baking sheet in foil (shiny side down) and place the brie in the center. Place in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until the inside of the brie becomes creamy.
- Combine the water, lemon juice, and sugar in a small saucepan, stirring over medium heat until the sugar completely dissolves in the mixture. Allow the mixture to come to a slow boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. (The mixture should slightly dissolve and thicken)
- Rinse the blackberries and set 5-7 aside to be used later on. Place the rest of the blackberries and the sugar mixture into a blender and blend until it forms a thick sauce.
- Add the rest of the whole blackberries (I cut a few in half as well) to the blended mixture
- Remove the brie from the oven, transfer to a decorative dish, drizzle the blackberry mixture over the brie, and enjoy!
