Simple Raspberry Lemonade Frozen Margarita

With summer seemingly so far away and snow blanketing the sidewalks, there’s no better time to serve up a little sunshine. And with National Margarita Day within this weeks agenda, we’re calling out señor Jose Cuervo to kick off this fiesta. So turn up Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet, and get out those blenders because we’re about to transform your kitchen into an island getaway with our classic Raspberry Lemonade Margarita.

For those Margarita Makers in training, a huge game changer resides in the choice of glass. If you don’t have a classic margarita glass, a martini cup will do just fine. Aside from this, fruit toppers and a heavy pour are a must. If you’re not familiar performing a “meniscus pour”, take our word and take it slow. With a full glass and a tropical straw, your Raspberry Lemonade Margarita will be a picture perfect masterpiece.

Tips & Recipe Hacks

Although this recipe is innately easy in itself, there are a few changes you can make to amp up your cocktail. First up is the “on the rocks” option. To add some saltiness to your sweet treat, rim the edges with your lemon wedge and pour some salt on a plate. Just tap and twist the glass on the plate, add fruit decor and pour!

A few other ingredient alternatives are outlined below:

  • Add strawberries in addition to the raspberries
  • Use Pink Lemonade Concentrate instead of Lemonade
  • Substitute Tequila for Rum to make a Lemonade Daquiri

Aside from ingredient alterations, there are many options for blending. If you’re making margaritas for a group, the blender is definitely the way to go. However, if trying it out for 1-2 people, a personal Ninja Blender or even a shaker will suffice. If opting for the shaker, you may want to use regular lemonade to take out the blending. Whichever way you decide to concoct your cocktail, let us know in the comments below!

Tasteful Pairings

With that tasty margarita in hand, there are a few side-chick snack ideas that would pair perfectly. To add a little brie to the table, try out these simply delicious bacon and brie jalapeño poppers. With the use of our best friend Mr. air fryer, these poppers are a sizzling treat you’ll never get enough of.

What’s a party without some carbs? Our infamous Baked Brie Bread Bowl is a grand slam in the appetizer realm. Every time we’ve made this, it has disappeared within seconds of serving. The great part about either of these recipes is they require little prep time and an easy cleanup. Because, let’s be honest, messes aren’t meant to be cleaned with a margarita in hand.

So, enjoy (responsibly) and let us know what you think!
