Total Time 25 minutes mins
- 1 sourdough boule
- 8 oz wheel of brie
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp white wine
Preheat oven to 450°.
Using a serrated knife, cut off top of boule and set aside.
Place the boule in the center of a parchment covered pan.
To fit brie inside the bread, place brie in the center of the boule and trace around the wheel with a knife. Scoop the bread out of the center and scatter the discarded bread around the pan.
Cut slits in the outer layer of bread to create pull apart pieces.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper. Stir and brush onto the bread. Insert the brie, top with brown sugar, wine, rosemary, and boule top and cook for 15 minutes or until the brie is bubbling. (take the bread insides and top out after about 5 minutes or until crisp).
Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately!
